Gerewol Festival is an even of the nomadic people so its exact location changes every year based on the weather. Moreover, if there’s a severe draught it might not happen at all.
The event takes place somewhere between Abalak and Agadez (Niger). While theoretically is possible to find the event exact location and attend to it by yourself, most people prefer to buy a specialized tour like:
