The Joujouka Music Festival is an intimate, spiritually charged gathering held in the remote Rif Mountains of Morocco. It celebrates the Master Musicians of Joujouka, an ancient Sufi brotherhood whose hypnotic, trance-inducing woodwind and drum music was famously championed by Beat Generation writers like William S. Burroughs and Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones.
