Intro

Akwasidae Tuntum is the grandest edition of Akwasidae, the royal court ceremony of the Ashanti Kingdom in Ghana. The king Asantehene appears in full regalia before his chiefs, accompanied by talking drums, umbrella-bearers and horn-blowers, while special food offerings honor the ancestors and the Golden Stool.
