Kazanlak Rose Festival

The Kazanlak Rose Festival is a massive celebration dedicated to the oil-bearing rose, the flower that has made Bulgaria famous worldwide. Held every year in early June, the festival marks the peak of the harvest season when the entire region is covered in blooms, and the air smells like perfume.
