Sighisoara Medieval Festival is the oldest festival of this kind from Romania. What makes it special is that it takes place in Sighisoara, one of the few still inhabited fortress-cities of the world. Besides medieval battles, tournaments, parades, and dance sessions, the medieval atmosphere is enhanced by a rich display of medieval costumes, crafts, and arts.
