Medieval Rose Festival is an event that recreates everyday life and legendary events of the medieval Rhodes island. It features all forms of arts and crafts related to medieval and byzantine times: street theater, juggling, historic dances, live music, story telling, re-enacting, and also pageantry.
In order to make the medieval atmosphere more realistic, all participants are encouraged to wear medieval costumes (available from the festival’s wardrobe) and interact with each other as if they would really be in the Middle Ages.
